opinion on my pc

hi, i am in the process of getting a new pc which i will be building and wanted to know what other people think of it and if i have missed anything.

also i didnt know which speakers to choose so if anyone can help that would be great.

cpu = intel e6600
mobo = gigabyte ga-965p-s3
ram = 2gb geil ddr2 800mhz
video = msi 8800 768mb
speakers creative/logitech 7.1/5.1 or the z-5500
dvd drives = lite on LH 18A1P
hard drive = 750GB seagate sata 2
display = viewsonic 2235wm
case = coolermaster stacker 831
P/S = tough power 750W
K/B = logitech G15 and Mouse G5 logitech
sound card = x-fi extreme gamer creative.

Looks ok to me, including your graphics 8800. The speakers you have chosen also should do the job. The DVD drive(s) .. I would prefer the LG GSA-4163B.

the spec looks good to me,with everything recognisable as top drawer quality.

Not quite the same point as Technotiger, but maybe a second optical drive, for straight copy to copy,(or as a spare).

As for speakers, if you want a large set with plenty base. click here

Or if you can afford it the 5500 set would be hard to beat.

aye, i was going to get two of the dvd drives.

the other thing i am not sure about is the monitor. i mean i do like the viewsonic but was wondering if anyone knew a better one that doesnt have speakers on it.

The monitor you have shown looks fine. You don't have/need to connect the audio cord.
