Operating systems lepoard, vista, linux?????

Hi Im thinking of buying a new laptop, what I want to know is:

1) Can the Apple lepoard O/S support microsoft applications such as office 2000 i.e. Word excel etc?
2) Can the linux O/S support microsoft applications such as office 2000 i.e. Word excel etc?
3) Can Vista lepoard O/S support microsoft applications such as office 2000 i.e. Word excel etc?

No such thing as Vista Leopard, Leopard is the latest version of MacOS, for Mac only. You can run Windows `inside` MacOS using BootCamp for access to Windows only software. click here
You need to factor in the cost of a Windows OS disc.

Open Office is available for all three click here, and can open MS Office files. There are separate versions of Office for Windows and Mac.
