Open and shut case

Is there any way in XP having burnt some tracks on to a CDR that it can be left open to add more later.? Picture CDRs stay open by default--on mine anyway. Thanks.

if you use nero you can make it multi session?

Why not just use Nero in multisession mode?

I do this to store small programs, utilities etc.

There is nothing in XP, as far as I can see, which permits multisession recordings.

Just as a matter of interest, when you make a copy of music with Windows Media Player it handles a licence for you.

This ensures that you are licensed to copy the music from a CD and play it on your computer.

But it is illegal to give that music away to anyone, put it on a disk or CD or even e-mail it to another person.

Thanks both of you. Will give Nero a go.
