Open Office advice needed.

I currently use Windows XP SP-2 with MS Office Professional 2000. I thought MS Office is now getting a bit long in the tooth and wondered if there would be an advantage in trying out the latest version of Open Office? Also can they both be installed together on the computer or would I have to uninstall MS Office first?

Any comments please?

There are many comparisons: click here, but various versions of MS Office (not just 2000) are usually compared.

This review click here, puts Open Office (OO) on par with MS Office (MSO).

Yes, you can have both installed at the same time. If you don't want OO to overtake your MSO files do this during installation click here. G
