Only 1 users getting group policy

  Muzz_former_aol_employee 12:24 02 Dec 05

Ok to those of you that have read my previous posts they have all been sorted.

I got 450+ users in Active Directory on a Windows 2000 server. There is a profile temp setup that all users grab when logging on and group policy is setup to stop users messing around with settings.

Only 1 partitular user is getting this policy though. I've tried refreshing, making a copy of this user, rebooting the server with no luck.

1. Is the group policy being applied at the domain level?

2. Check that there aren't any other groups policys that are being applied on an OU that is overiding the settings

3. try ticking the "no override" option on your group ploicy

4. The one user who is getting the policy, is he in his own OU?

Policy is being applied on the area containing the User accounts and this is ticked as no override. There are no other policies at any level on this domain.
