A web site that I have regularly used has become slow to load and to switch pages,
I do not experience this problem when using other sites or when connected to the web site on another PC, using a completely different ISP. Occurs with Chrome or IE browser.Windows XP, Firewalls on or off.PC scanned, C-Cleaner and disk clean all run.
Any suggestions as to how to identify the problem source, please?

Make sure your flash and java programs have the most recent updates and remove the old ones.

have you tried Event viewer to see if it shows any of the problems.
Control panel.Administrative tools.Event viewer.

Thanks but latest Java install produced no change and event viewer is not showing anything that suggests source of proble,.

You could try IE7Pro add-on for XP.
Make sure ad-blocker is ticked and mini download manager is unticked if you decide to try it.

I don't suppose you could copy and paste the site on here could you just to see if it is slow for us as well.
Not to worry if you cannot.

What firewall are you using.
Switching Zone Alarm and Norton Firewall off sometimes does not work.
It is not one of those is it.

Only using MS Essentials and problem remains with this off.

First one was slowish to open but i am afraid it is the rediectingat.com on this site that redirects things and slows it down.
Either that or my virginmedia is playing up again.
If you only use MSE maybe give the free version of Malwarebytes a go and see if it finds any problems.Update it first.

Both click here's opened in a reasonable time so looks like something on your computer is at fault.

Give this a try.You will have to reverse it if you want to see any Video's.

IE8.Tools.Developers tools.Disable at the top. Then click on script.
It takes about 5 seconds for it to load then switch that page off.
Go back to the 2 click here's that you sent and try them again.
It makes a big difference to me.
both are now very quick.

To reverse it just go back to disable and click on script again and that is it back to normal.
Makes a big difference to me so worth a try.
