One firewall enough?

I have XP pro, Free AVG 8, Commodo Pro Firewall, a Linksys WAG54GS2 wireless modem/router. Also use Vonage broadband phone. I used to have both the Linksys hardware firewall and Commodo on. I had some problems with Vonage and they advised me to disable the Linksys router's firewall. I did this and have had no problems. Commodo seems fine. Can I leave the Linksys firewall off? Other sacurity is fine.

Better to find out what ports Vonage requires and forward those than disable the router firewall entirely. click here

brundle. Thanks - will try to absorb this! A bit technical for me. The Vonage box is plugged in to the router with an ethernet cable and I can use the phone with the PC switched off but router on. Can even take the Vonage box on holiday and plug it in to other routers plus a phone and make free calls. Not sure of relevance of ports.
