Hello,If I enable(default disabled) the Onboard FDC Controller for a floppy drive I intend to fit, will I have to change any other settings.Or will the BIOS change any settings when enabled ???.Thanks all
Enabling it in the BIOS and selecting the correct type of drive in the BIOS is all that's required. When you restart with the BIOS changed, Windows will pick up the drive and install the necessary software.
DieSse for clarifying this.I'm still upgrading a friends PC,so before I changed anything in the BIOS ,I thought it best to check with the experts first.Once again thanks.
