OLEAUT32.dll

My laptop is, usually though not always, refusing to start IE - saying Iexplore has caused an error in OLEAUT32.dll, Iexplore will now close.

I'm running ME. I tried replacing OLEAUT32 with another version that I downloaded but it didn't make any difference.

Can anyone help?

Regards

Peter

Have you tried Windows update for an updated version or patch for IE ?
Just a suggestion.
