Guys,

I am desperate to build a gaming pc on a £500 budget (just for base unit) but am starting to get confused with everything pc and the like........

Can anyone recommend a good value pre built gaming computer? I really want a quad processor.

Thanks for your help!

I am sure the site has some good deals BUT the PC shown has a 9500GT VGA card which standalone is an affordable card but a bit of a donkey in performance.., not sure i would want to spend my money on it...

I can second Cougar as worth looking at.All I would say though is to get your own monitor if you do use Cougar if you want it for gaming.

are both good starting places to get base units you can customise to your budget.

Also, I have just been looking at Quad core v Dual Core and you may find this page helpful click here before you go deciding on the CPU. It would seem Speed is more important than Quantity.
