Office 97 shortcut bar

I just bought and installed Office 97. I am running it on xp and all seems fine so far except that I can't seem to turn off the shortcut bar which appears on my desktop and cuts down the amount of space I have available. Can anyone please tell me how to remove this thing?

You should be able to right-click on the logo, usually at the right of the bar. This opens a menu with the option to close it and then a dialogue box follows giving you the choice of having it back at next reboot or getting rid of it altogether.

Alternatively, it is launched from Startup on the Start menu so you could delete it from there and it wont start next time you boot up. It's called something like Osa.
