office 2007 related to keyboard non-functioning?

I installed Microsoft Office Student 2007, and immediately my laptop keyboard ceased to function! I've been told that it's impossible that they are related, but it's just too coincidental for my liking. The computer repairer says he can't find the fault at all, and I should send it to a specialist.

Has anyone had similar problems?? Any suggestions??

Will touch pad still work? If it do's Try running System Restore to Before you loaded Office. Did you turn off or Disable your AntiVirus before you tried install of Office?????

Why not reload the Drivers for the Keyboard, as it's a Laptop you need to get them from the Maker of your PC if you do not have the drivers on another partition or CD. Mine are on another partition for my laptop
