Office 2003 Pro Problem

  kentylad 17:47 01 Jan 04

Throughout each of the MS Office 2003 Pro applications, there is the missing feature of what I can only describe as a 'hover description' i.e. when hovering over a certain button ('Paste' for example), then it doesn't come up with a little box describing what the button is (i.e. "Paste" !)

Is this a function i need to enable or a bug in the software?

I think you have to go to Tools Menu - Options - View - tick -screen tips.

ToolTips work in mine and I wasn't aware of a setting to turn them on or off. Have you tried Detect and Repair from the Help menu in any Office program?
