Office 2003 - Date Format

  Billawa 19:03 29 Jan 06

Office seems to have set the format for dates typed as 12th, etc with the "th" in superscript. I prefer the "th" to be in normal script and size. I could alter the appearance in previous versions of Office but can't find how to alter this default in the 2003 version. Is there an answer?

I would look in the autocorrect list but being a poor impoverished pensioner I have not got past office 2000.

Open Word.
Tools/Auto-correct options/Format as you type
Untick option for ordinals with superscript.

Does it come under Insert in Word

Thanks folks! It came under autocorrect. I wish Microsoft would index these things sensibly!

I could only point you to Menu as I use WordPerfect and it's under Insert
