Office 2003 and 2007 on the same computer

Is it possible to have say 2007 on the D directory and 2003 in the C directory on a laptop using vista?
Its possible with other software, even have them both open at the same time. Not sure with MS products though.

Microsoft advise that you *DON'T* have multiple versions of Office installed in the same PC. Even if you do install one version to "C"drive and the other to "D" drive, the registry entries for both will be in the same drive, i.e. in the drive from which Windows is running.

If you have a good backup program, such as "Acronis True Image", you could try it for yourself, otherwise it probably isn't worth risking the possible conflicts.
