OE settings

Every time I close Outlook Express, it asks me to compact files to free up disk space. This is really strange because I just reformatted and have over 80% free disk space. I've looked thru the settings a couple of times now but can't seem to be able to turn off this annoying notification. Just where is it? Thanks

If you do what it asks you won't see the message again for a long time.

It appears when you have a certain number of messages (in at least one file IIRC); the figure is around 300.

As VoG™ says if you go ahead you won't see the message again for a while and the compression only takes a short time.

Since I've reformatted, I've only 3 messages...oh well. Thx
