OE & IE via ADSL

I have just connected via ADSL (oooh errr speed), however I do not leave my PC turned on all night or all day etc so disconnect the line after use.

When I open either Outlook Express or Internet Explorer (v6), before connecting to ADSL, it opens a connection window and tries to connect via my old 56k modem.

Is there a way of getting IE & OE to look for the ADSL connection by default.

Thanks in advance

If you don't need the modem connection anymore you could delete it.

Otherwise from the internet properties page you can set it to never dial a connection.

Also, in the services menu of outlook.....you can configure the connection you want to use to get your mail. Set it to lan (should be this for ADSL).
