An Odd Thing

Just changed to TalkTalk today and installed everything but when I click on the Broadband icon it says its making a dialup connection!Ive been into the control panel to check the 'Never dial a connection' box but in the Network connections box the Broadband symbol/icon is also under the heading of Dial Up.
I worry in case I get a phone bill for dialling.Am I worrying over nothing?

yes some isp's still provide a "number to be dialed" but it is not actually making a phone call because on broadband there is no dial tone.

Thats a relief. To be honest Im not really happy with Talktalk. The modem uses up a USB, the web seems to be slower,we havent got the promised 5 e-mail accounts,I seem to be registered twice at thier website with "broadband going live in May 07" too, and their telephone service is a nightmare. It hangs up for no reason even when talking to an advisor and when you do get through you cant understand them!
And Ive still got 18 months to go.
