Hi. If I run msconfig and look at the programs set to run at startup there is an entry all in chinese! The manufacturer is "unknown". Any ideas? (Vista Home SP1)

A couple of references to it at the top here. click here But not much info. Sounds like something not very nice.
I would try running this click here and see if it sorts it.

i have used click here a few times in the past, mainly to get rid of stubborn nvidia and logitech entires always worked never had a problem

I use Startup Control Manager to control all my startup programs, I suggest you give it a go. click here

Thanks all for your responses. Have downloaded all the progs you suggest. Will report back when tested. I found that when I unticked the box next to the chinese entry and then rebooted it stayed unticked.
