OCZ Reaper Memory Upgrade

Hi,

I've got a new system with 2 x 1GB HPC Reaper 6400 memory. I've been thinking about an upgrade to 3 GB but not too sure if you have to buy memory in matching pairs still.

Can I fit just one additional memory module or would I need to fit two so that there are matching pairs.

I'm fairly sure you dont need to have matching pairs anymore but can't seem to find anything on the internet to confirm this.

I'm running Vista Ultimate (32 bit) and understand that with a 32 bit operating system it cannot reference 4Gb ram.

Any advice is most welcome.

Thanks,

Mort

go to the crucial site and let them scan your pc they will tell you what you need.

I've tried the crucial site but they don't seem to have anything compatible with the OCZ Reaper memory.

I'm just after another Reaper module anyway, just not sure if it will work if I slot in one additional module or not.....
