NTLDR is missing

I wonder if anyone could help me.

I used to have a dual boot machine

partition 1, DOS - partition 2, W2K.

I never used the DOS partition and for some MAD reason I decided to format it. Of course the boot files were on this partition and now when I boot I get 'NTLDR is missing ..'

How on earth do I get the machine to boot off of the W2K partition?! I have tried using the recovery console to try and makeboot etc... none of this helps!

Any ideas?

Many Thanks!!

(P.S. Both drives are formatted as NTFS)

Hi Mike - thanks for your suggestion.

How do I access the hard drive to copy the files? I cannot use a standard DOS boot disk because the drives are formatted to NTFS.

That's excellent!

With both yours and Mike's suggestion I should be able to sort it.

Thanks Guys! Much Appreciated

The utility mentined by Mike doesn't allow access to the A:\ drive so I can't copy the boot files to the hard drive!!

Anyone have any ideas?
Many Thanks
