I've found NTL BB very reliable, and free telephone line rental is a bonus.

I'm on ntl dial-up - - -- we go through some rough patches re access but no worse than others.
I pay £15 a month - for that £15 worth of calls free plus all time access - - - you have to pay bt tenner a month line rental tho

NTL you cannot beat for the money

PS you are talking about the 321 package

the dialler you get with it tries a number a couple of times then if un-successful, will try another. They have had one or two 'hiccups' the last couple of weeks but on the whole I am happy with it.

hi wood chip thats the one i,ve been offered is the speed up to par?

I was on NTL dial-up for about nine months and never had any trouble with it (or them!).
The speed was mostly on 52 and down to 50/46 on the ocassional bad day.
I now have the 150 BB and am still very pleased with NTL. I see you can now get 150 BB for £10 a month for the first three months (then £17.99) with free modem and connection until the end of September.

I had NTL dial up for months but up here in the Wirral i found it slow at times you would log on and you would get opening page and it would just stay there other times you would be up and running in seconds and as people turn to broadband
you would think dial up would not have these problems.
