NTL Broadband: vtruck2.exe Problems

I loaded my Tosh laptop with NTL broadband. Every time I switch the laptop on, XP loads the desktop and I get the following:

"Please insert your CD Rom with the Virtual Truck Program. Looking for file:
D:\installs\TeraUSB\vtruck2.exe"

If I cancel the message the system loads up and broadband works fine. Any advice on how to get rid of this annoyance? I am told this is a common problem.

After long waits on NTL tech line and no reply from them for SIX WEEKS, I suspect they are only interested in the money!

Thanks all for the replies.

For BOW1 & ANDY SD.
There is no [windows] on my Win.ini tab. I'm using Windows XP. Does this make a difference?

ForCarol Sco.
Sorry. It didn't work for me.

In the Startup tab there is no entry for either vtagent or broadjump?

Yes there is an entry for VTAgent reboot on the Startup tab. When I uncheck, click apply and restart the computer, it's still there.( And so is the VTruck exe. message.
