Hi Stirkius

Thanks for your reply. I was just letting people know of the offer as it is not listed on NTLworlds website.

People who are paying £13-15 pounds on Dial up and want to experiance Broadband for the first time I think is a good price with the free installation.

Anyway if I went to the 750k set up my cost would double what I am paying now for dial up. This way it is only £3.00 per month more.

Thanks again for your reply.

According to this click here they are offering the first three months at £8.99 (half price), then £17.99 a month. That works out at £15.74 a month for the first year.

Not bad as long as it keeps working and you don't need to get hold of technical support. For those who don't use the internet heavily, there are limited bandwidth services for less like Plusnet 512 K broadband click here which is only £14.99 a month with 1 Gbyte/month bandwidth, £16.74 for 2 Gbyte bandwidth, or £18.49 for 3 Gbyte/month.

NTL is £15.74 a month for only 300K, but with no bandwidth limit. Plusnet also offer more webspace - 250 Mbytes instead of 50 Mbytes with NTL, but you need a landline. NTL is cable so you do not need a telephone line already.
