Have just been connected to NTL cable 2mb broadband, can anyone recommend an easily setup wireless system for laptop and PDA (novice PC user) and is it best to buy a recommended unit from them or some where like PC world.

Many thanks.

Does the lappy have a wireless card installed, if not you will need to buy a wireless adapter. most are easy to set up if you follow the instructions. You gets what you pay for. I use a belkin USB adapter and as long as you are within range of the router it works well...

You will need a wireless router, any one of these will do click here I use the Linksys WRT54G. As STREETWORK has said if the laptop does not have built in wireless you will have an adapter.

The Belkin F5D7230 is one option, Netgear WGR614, Linksys WRT54g .... plenty to chooes from ... just be sure it does not have an adsl modem built in as these are designed for adsl and NOT NTL.

Glad to hear you have it running, have you set up wireless security?
