NT4 Networking problem

We have just being rebuilding our NT4 Network in work and have encountered a problem. We had the BDC up and running fine in our office, when we moved it to its new location we could not get it on the network. We got the taps flushed so there would be no problem with the Mac address, we checked the Lanplex and this is serviceable. The network card can be pinged no problem. We renewed all the cabling and reloaded the operating system but still the problem arises. The PDC and File Server are all working no problems. Has anybody got any ideas to throw our way, Thanks

Any firewalls blocking connections to the clients?

If you can ping it then there's no fault with the NIC cards and the conection to and from the server.

Have you also ensured that the logon is through the NT4 domain?

Gareth

Have no firewall installed yet, or antivirus. We had the BDC Working and replicating in one location. Moved it to new location and no joy. We could not ping the PDC but could Ping other locations from new location. Brought BDC back to work in Link Mode and still no joy even after reloading operating system. So now baffled
