I have a Photo 830 printer less than 4 months old, with its original black ink cartridge & some of the black nozzles are blocked & will not clear despite several passes of the cleaning cycle. Repeated support requests to Epson go unanswered. Has anyoone any idea how to clear these nozzles?

Ink cartridges have a limited shelf life and a couple of times I've had customers buy printers where the ink cartridge has expired. Sometimes if the printer is left too long without any use, the nozzles can become blocked.
The only suggestion I have is remove the cartridge concerned and try cleaning the nozzle with some methylated spirits, GENTLY.
If this doesnt work, get a new one.

Surely if it is only 4 months old you can contact Epson by phone (they don't seem to answer email) and expect them to exchange your printer for one that does work properly.
