not up to size

hi i have got a 160GB hard drive in my pc, i use the drive as a master, the only thing is it is only registering as a 127GB. i am using windows xp pro operating system and i didnt think there would be a problem with the size of the hard drive. could any one please tell me why this is and how i could solve the problem thanks daz

You will need to update XP to a minimum of Service Pack 1. Pre SP1 XP had a limit of 137Gb which was remedied in said service pack.
