We are familiar with messages like this I Guess, and I Usually take it means my machine or the one I am looking at - has trouble because of file corruption or simply getting a little clogged in some way,
But
When a message occurs on a brand new example of one of Prof., Novatech's finest- with 2Tb of Hard Drive and 8 Gb of RAM
Where XP Pro loaded soooo smoothly and it went on line without a hitch, when I set it up for the owner.
Then he phones me with these above mentioned symptoms- I am a little perplexed as to why it should be.
Any ideas?
I am going to see the patient on Monday the 21st.
So far my thoughts have been - He is loading old -and I mean old software-He is into financial sort of stuff.
That some of his backed stuff has corrupted.
Any other thoughts on 'Not Responding' etc.,?

did it have xp 64bit set up on it? Lots of things do not work as expected with xp 64bit and I suspect with w7 64bit as well from things I am hearing.
