Got the above message on an XP Pro-only peer-to-peer network. For anyone who gets this (and it often happens if you upgrade or intstall Norton AV) the solution is to open Regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/lanmanserver/parameters. Look for IRPStackSize. The vlue on an XP machine should be 15. NAV will often switch it to 11. If the value doesn't appear, right click and go to New/Dword, then enter the value as decimal 15. That should sovle the problem.
