not able to write purchased music files to cd

I have joined freeserve music club and paid for the option to download and burn tracks to cds.
Each time I try to burn to cd I get the message that Nero5 plugin cannot read protected tracks. I have contacted freeserve on several occasions which was a complete waste of time. I have tried to reinstall the cd write option which is normally installed with media player nine, and which I originally opted to leave out, but I am not able to do this. As I am paying for thie privilege of burning these track it is annoying. Anyone have any ideas.

Same problem with Virgin, Nero will not burn these downloads - but Windows Media Player 9 / XP will. I would persist with getting that working. Can you not reinstall WMP9

Thanks Bremner, I have taken nero off completely and re-installed media player. I can now burn as needed. KButch
