Norton vs IE problem

  silverdragon4 23:38 13 Feb 08

My friend has been having trouble with IE eversince she got the 2007 Norton with Fraud detection. Since then she has used Firefox. But now she needs IE to do some Java Script.

Can anyone suggest why IE crashes since she got the Norton Fraud Detection?

Firefox can `do` Javascript, the only time you absolutely need IE is for some poorly written sites or Windows Updates. You could advise your friend to disable Norton's Fraud bar, though how you do that I can't say as I don't use Norton.
