Norton Security 2004 - removal

  Dellman 15:31 13 Sep 07

My subscription for this product is coming up for renewal...

Any recommendations for "free" options i.e. anti-virus and firewall (and anything else!!)

My only concern with giving up Norton/Symantec is the parental controls that I have been able to put in place against the kids-Windows profiles on the PC. Does Windows alone give any parental controls? What other options are there..."free".

No experience of these though, maybe a trial and error approach.
Someone else may come along with hands on experience of parental programs.
