I have been running Norton Internet Security and Systemworks for some time but decided that i needed to uninstall Systemworks and re-load it. it seems that I have to un-install NIS before I can install Systemworks. Can you tell me why?

i have tried it but i get error messages that relate to PEPAuditThread (the Norton site tells me that I need to fiddle with my registry settings, but I am not willing to do that myself, and also that I need SYMFIX_1002.1.exe .Any helpful thoughts or comments on my problems, please, in simple language?

No helpful explanation, I'm afraid. Just a quick note of sympathy. Norton products are notoriously difficult to uninstall.

Are you aware that there's a special Norton uninstall tool that you can download free from Symantec?
