Hi,
My Norton anti virus is expiring tomorrow. Is it worth buying the new 2007 version? Some one told me norton slows your laptop. Can you recommend a better one.

Thank you

Free Avg-Anti Virus.Whether its better or not has led to a few frank remarks from both side's but it is the right price,I have been using it for a couple of years now and cant fault it,If you decide to remove Norton You have to use the Norton removal tool to get it off your computer, click here

Are you on 2006, if so try this upgrade link to 2007.

I use 2007 and it is much leaner than the older versions - its a question of what you know and how much you want to spend.

Some advice here click here
but do use the Norton removal tool as suggested by Buteman.

I agree with sunny staines on this one. I am running NIS 2007 and it does not slow my laptop down like the 2006 version did. It is up to you though, in my case I like it. J.B.

i cant find a better program than nis 2007, its personnal choice, but with norton you dont know its there, no updates, no options and in my case certainly no slow down and it has protected me where as others have failed
