Since installing Norton Internet Security 2003 I have been unable to access the Freeserve Home page. Any suggestions?

try making sure that the url address begins with https as opposed to just http
i had the same problem last week and this cured it
best of luck

Thanks Karl I had discovered this but it does mean you are entering under the pretext of it being a secure site. The secure padlock sign appears.
Nice try though.

I use it with Freeserve with no problems. you have set internet explorer to 'permit all' in the personal firewall I take it. To find out what the problem is disable all the different functions and then try to access Freeserve. If you can get the homepage up, enable the various options one at a time till you find out which one is set incorrectly. It is usually just getting the settings right. incidentally I had terrible problems with Ad Blocking causing problems with page loading so I have this disabled permenantly now. Give it a try and post again.

Thanks blakdog, I have systematically gone through all the settings and I still can't access the home page. Will leave it for the time being. Hopefully it will be resolved before 2004 version comes out??
I will tick as resolved.
