Norton Internet Sec 2005 with AOL 9

  Dervy 16:24 07 Oct 05

Hi, I am about to install NIS 2005 onto a pc that uses AOL version 9 under XP Home. Anyone have any problems with these supporting each other ??? I do understand that NIS 2005 does not support AOL mail but presumably AOL itself checks mail at the server for viruses etc...

Many thanks, Derv.

< tongue in cheek> I Can't abide either Norton or AOL, but you're going to use both, Dervy, good luck. I wonder could this be a case of two wrongs making a right. < /tongue in cheek> :-)

There will be no problems....

The only thing is that the AOL software installs a load of rubbish that you don't need, which slows you down. Norton is very similar.

But there will be no problems other than your system slowing down which you probably wont even notice.
