Norton Ghost on XP

  chubbs 21:59 24 Apr 04

I have happily been using Ghost with Windows 98. I have a clean installation on my C drive of the operating system and all my programs and I clone this to the next partition, my D drive (all data is on the third partition E). When I want to clean out acquired rubbish up I clone D drive back to C.
I have now installed XP and I can't perform this operation. The re-cloned drive hangs up on the splash screen. The manual says Ghost works on XP but what is going wrong?

Norton will have the answer. Get into their website support section and persevere with a ratheer complicated searching routine.
I had the same problem and the support centre had the answer.
