I have 2 computers at the moment - both Packard Bells. I've had to reformat one computer today (as desktop PC) and have just reinstalled (slipstreamed thanks to powerless) everything on it...

If I decided to ghost a copy of this and install it on my laptop (I have legal versions of Win XP), would it work or would the different hardware configurations etc from desktop to laptop cause windows to stumble? I'm very interested!

Any opinions please.

You can copy the system to the laptop, however you would have to "re-activate" windows

You can try, BUT, different drivers are needed by the laptop, for modem/graphics card motherboard, and would cause problems, if it worked at all, and vice versa.

And then as mattyc_92 has said the problem of activating xp.
