Norton Ghost 10 advice?

I would like to create a new "Back up point" with Norton Ghost10.

In the "Define Backup Wizard" I'm confronted with the prompt:

": Select a drive, or press....for multiple
drives".

The follow-up display gives the choices:
(C:\)
(*.\) 2818 MB
(G:\)

Now, I would like to back-up my C drive onto my external HDD (G drive).

Question: What is:

(*.\) 2818 MB

and do I have to highlight/back up this drive as well in my "Recovery point of C?"

I think that (*.\) 2818 MB is a hidden recovery partition - I have the same on mine but with a different MB reading. So you only have to select C:\.

Tha VoG™, I sucpected, it was a XP hidden partition, but was unsure whether Norton Ghost includes it automatically when creating a recovery point or I have to (manunally) include it.

By the way, (my apologies from swaying from my thread - but its Ghost related),when you needed to use a recovery point:

1) Can you use Notons recovery point from the Windows environment ??
or
2) Does it always require the:
"Booting your computer into the recovery environment" option?
