Norton Contacting on boot

  DougieC 14:13 24 May 03

I have recently been noticing within detailed statistics in NIS that the application ccapp.exe has been making a connection to every time i boot.
I know that the app ccapp.exe is a fundamental part of NIS and NAV to manage mail scanning and auto protect facilities.(I have performed a virus and trojan check and everything is ok)
I have heard that this connection was possibily introduced via an update from symantec. Is this true and why would we need to make a connection to versign?
If anyone could give me any advice on why this has been introduced or how to stop this from making a connection to versign it would be much appreciated.
