norton auto protect icon in taskbar

it seems since upgrading spysweeper to version 5 every time Iboot up or reboot norton auto protecticon in the taskbar becomes a red ballon with words from security center saying you are not protected norton auto protect is switched off click the ballon to correct this after 15-45 seconds the norton icon replaces ballon and all is well.can anyone shed any light on this problem?

I would suggest that you disable the active scanning module of Spy Sweeper for a while (kill the executable from Task Manager or disable it in the Services management console). Then you can acsertain whether it is actually to blame or just a coincidence.
