Anyone explain this please or possibly do the test if you have Norton 360.

I ran the Norton 360 Diagnostic Test (under PC tune up menu)and it always reports that my 'System RAM is low' It says it is 256MB when the laptop has always had 2GB which has always been recognised by windows as 2GB and it is obciously not running on 256MB.
It also passes Windows memory tests.

Vista Home Premium

Thanks for looking

does the general tab in the system icon in control panel show the correct ram thinking some of your ram might be defective.

Swapped RAM about now reads correct value in Norton but Norton still says I need more RAM 2GB should be more than enough for my needs even allowing for that used by Windows.
