Nokia Asha 530 phone

Recently purchased Nokia Asha 530 phone. Despite having home wi-fi, keep getting messages saying there is no connectivity or wi-fi and therefore cannot download apps or anything else it seems. Any ideas what is wrong?

Have you switched WiFi on? Once it finds your connection you will need to type in your security key.

It could be on a sticker on your router or with the information you got from your ISP.

Tried all 3 numbers on the back of my BT Home Hub 2.0 (including Wireless Key number) Zilch

Its the wireless key you need. Check that you use upper case / lower case and don't mix your zeros and noughts etc. Copy exactly as is.

Typed in wireless key. Although it shows my BT Home Hub2 is connected, * am still getting message that there is no no connectivity or wi-fi. Puzzling.*

Try rebooting the hub. Switch it off for a minute then switch back on and let it settle.
