noisy environment...network adaptor settings?

What does the above mean? I keep losing connection so trying to rectify it. I was going through the adaptor settings and came across noisy environment and checked it.

Also I was looking for a setting in the power setting that cuts the adaptor to save power but couldn't find the configuration.

PS any ideas why my connection keeps dropping? I never used to lose connection, and there's no change with electrical interference. Any ideas what settings need changing/configuring?

THANKS

This is in windows power management settings

Right click the drive select properties - properties tab- untick switch off to save power, as this casue drop outs.

"any ideas why my connection keeps dropping?"

could be you ISP what are the router lights showing?
