No windows logo but still loads to desktop

For the past few days I have noticed the Logo is missing whenever I start my pc. It still loads into desktop and the pc runs fine. I have looked at the Boot section of Msconfig and the No GUI Boot is unchecked so it should still show whenever windows is loading. The light blue screen you get just before desktop is also missing. I am running Windows 7 64bit. As far as I know, there have been no changes to my pc as I am the only person who uses it. Would just like to know how this has happened and what can be done to get it back. By no means essential, just curious and hope it's not a virus or something.
