No WDM Output Device?

I have installed a piece of software on my computer which is quite old (Dell Optiplex GX1) running Windows 98. When I try to run the program an error message occurs "No WDM Output Device" What does this mean? Is there anything I can do?

No Default MIDI Output Device in Multimedia Properties
To resolve this issue, manually configure your default MIDI output device. To do so, use the following steps:
1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Multimedia.
2. Click the MIDI tab, click the MIDI playback device you want to use as the default device, click Apply, and then click OK.
see if it works rhis time

This is always a problem with long links, especially Microsoft. Use this site click here to make them shorter.
