no sound working

I have aquired an oldish computer to try out programs off discs etc. it is desktop with built in speakers each side of the cd and floppy drives
and a 3Gb hd but it has no sound is there a way of
finding out if it has a sound card and if it is
working any suggestions? >>>

forgot to say it is not connected to internet and
running W98SE if i can download to afloppy that

Aida32 is over 2 MB so won't fit on a floppy.

You could try Belarc Advosor which is about 600 KB so would fit click here
