No sound from CD-RW's

  mikegm6 06:19 11 Feb 04

I have recently transferred an LP to a CD-RW (says it's for audio use good quality!!) but when I come to play it on my hi-fi (a good system!!)there are no track listings and NO sound. In yet when I play the same disc on a small mobile radio/cd player it plays no problem. If I use a cheap CD-R this plays on my hi-fi with no problem.
Why cant I play the good cd-rw but no problem with the cheap cd-r? Thanks in advance. Using XP.

That's the nature of these products; I don't have a clue of the technicalities of it all, but what you described seems to be the case.

It may have something to do with closing / finalising the disk but that is only a guess... I don't use CD-RW disks.
