my friend registered his grand-daughter with zylom online games, after which he noticed the time on the clock had changed to US time,when he changed it back the screen went black,and now he can't boot into windows just gets the message (no signal)
please help

Assuming the computer is running Windows XP, try this:

Immediately after powering on, tap the "F8" key until the Boot Menu is displayed. From the menu, select the option to boot the "Last Known Good Configuration" and see if that gets it running again.

Try resetting the bios this can be done by moving a jumper on the motherboard you will need the motherboard manual for this or if you open up your computer and remove the battery from the motherbaord for a while then replace it this also can reset the Bios.
